Couldnt help but notice you had/have a 220SE coupe. Just curious as Ive always thought it was one of the best designs Benz ever made. Whats going on with that?

Agreed, one the most elegant cars ever made IMO. I had the coupe in mid-eighties. Absolutely fabulous! 4 speed, Metalic blue with beige interior, coincidentally same as m y 6.9. Had it several years. I was forced to sell when moving overseas. Drove well but body was pretty bad, nice from far but far from nice. Basically reprayed bondo holding together the rust. Still, it was a helluva car for a 28 year old kid to be driving around! Cheers,
