Question is, how well does it purr and why do you think it could be better?  That is, what do you seek to improve?  If it runs "really nice" do you really want to mess with it?  Messing with it can get very involved, more on that below.  Anyway, to simply adjust idle speed use the large, white plastic screw on top of the engine.  However, all that does is change idle speed.
d.  Hope this is helpful on some level and good luck.  Cheers,
Thanks raueda1
So yes, I just want to adjust the idle speed and nothing else. So I went and checked and saw that the idle screw is broken! Now the task of finding a replacement for that. As many have said...so now it begins  :-\

The K-Jet idle screw is still available from MB, albeit at an eye watering 45EUR. I've bought one in January.

In reality, it's less than 20 cents worth of glass-fibre reinforced ABS plastic... The original screws were made from Delrin.

That's shocking.  ABS is a terrible choice for under-the-hood applications.  It just doesn't have the long term thermal stability of delrin, nylon or even glass filled PP.  So not only is it absurdly expensive but their material choice guarantees that it will disintegrate.   >:(

Maybe I got it wrong then. But it sure looks almost identical to other GF/ABS made things I have lying around. I'll check it for markings again, maybe there are some.

Either way, it sells for vastly more than it would cost to produce, even from high-tech polymers like PEEK/PEI etc.

Can't always tell by looking, but exactly.  ABS would be criminal engineering malpractice.
