I've a problem with my 280SE. Sometimes I can't start the car whit the gearshift in "P" position, I've to move several time the gearshift up and down until I can start the car. Any help about what happens with my car?

Check the shifter bushings, they are likely disintegrated.
Also check the linkage at the neutral safety switch, there is also a bushing there.
Could also be the neutral safety switch itself that is kaput.
