Topic: Lost my temp gauge

I cleaned the fuel injectors in my 6.9 last weekend in an effort to cure the rough idle. It went a long way to doing so but now it seems like I have lost my temperature gauge. There is a cable going into the thermostat housing so the connection is there.

Can anyone give me any ideas on how I can trouble shoot this?

The temp guage sender is in the cylinder head at the rear on the right hand side on the inlet side of the head. The sender in the thermostat housing controls the auxilary fan and the ignition switch over.( I think).Regards Aussie 6.9.
