Jack/ jack points?

My car is rust free(the jack holes are good), and I have a 3 ton jack. Here's my question: I want to replace the shocks on all 4 sides, but I can't figure out where to place the jack/ jack stands. I'm thinking the crossmember to is where to place the jack, but I can't get my jack underneath as I keep hitting the oil pan. Do I come in from the side? Seems very sketchy to me. Also, if I were to use the jack holes, I'm reading on the forum that I can put a big bolt in the jack holes, jack the car up, then put regular jack stands underneath the bolts? Is that kosher? Confused as I've mostly finished up on my engine and electrical issues, and am now working through suspension. Many thanks in advance.

Front jack you can use under the end of the round crossmember tube under the engine. Rear use the diff or the front of rear subframe mount.

I've never used the bolt in jack hole, but that should work.

Do I place the jack in from the side? Seems to be the only way I can reach it..
