Interesting - look at this cruise control button!

Say - there is a 450SE for sale on ebay and I lifted a heater control picture for Big Richard and just now I was noticing the upper left button - if you look close it is for the cruise control!

Is this common?  My car has the electric antenna control there.  I don't recall ever seeing this switch in any of the 107s I worked on last year either - all the early ones had a pull knob for the cruise.

My non-working cruise control is on a stalk extending from the steering column similar to the indicator stalk.

The buttons across the top are in slightly different positions to mine, I think. I have the factory option automatic antenna so no fourth button apart from roof light, rear-window demister and sun-roof.

The airconditioning switches and dials also look slightly different to mine. Mine doesn't have Fresh and Max around the A/C dial and has red and white triangular markers for the levers indicating their purpose. Also, this car is missing the second lever handle from the right which I don't think is a factory option  :P

Finally, is that a toe in the bottom right of the photo ??? It is amusing what appears in photos posted on eBay and other similar sites :)

It must be an early model, my friends 74 280S has the same button.

Sure is! Check this eBay ad for an antique dining table. Look in the mirror, top LH corner: .
