Ignition coil wiring

I have a 1975 450se that has no spark. It ran just fine but now nothing I changed the coil and replaced the icu just ordered new ballast resistors but I am wondering if I screwed up the wiring when reinstalling. Does anyone have a picture of there setup ? Preferably a 75. This is mine. Thanks in advance!!

Is ignition wiring same as 6.9 (1976)?  If so I can post pix.  However, they need to be shrunk before posting, so it's a bit of a project.  If anybody knows pls indicate.  Thanks and cheers,

That balast resistor looks pretty crispy I'd replace that first.

OK Eric, here goes.  I'm pretty sure that the ignition on 6.9 is the same, but I can't say 100% sure.  It looks to me like I may have more wires than you do.    

Anyway, pix are obviously different angles.  No single picture is usually enough to see what's going on, you'll probably have to trace the wires across several pix.  But it ought to be a good start.  When I get a minute I'll see if I have wiring diagram.  I probably do, but finding is another minor project.  Good luck!

[sidebar comment - you can never take enough pictures.  Well, maybe you can, but I can't.  I tripled the number that I took when I started down this crazy W116 path, but it's still never enough!]

Wow.  Yours seems to be totally different and has about half the wires.  Maybe different ignition modules?  Does yours have the 4-prong plug that shows in one of my pix?  Still looking for schematics.....

I just looked at mine again mine looks to be wired correct but I can't see the top of your coil can you possibly take another picture with the cap off ?

The left side of the coil is (-) and the right side is (+).
