Idle screw replacement
« on: 13 April 2020, 04:56 PM »
I've replaced the idle screw on my 450SE today, on advice from the guy who did mixture tuning on it a while back. Easy job, and I'm glad I did it - the old screw was starting to develop some cracks in the bottom part, easily visible in the pic. The replacement differs in shape slightly. Not sure it it's due to wear on the original, or a changed design.

Hi ptashek
Where did you buy this from? I need to replace mine as the head is completely gone.
Thanks

Your local MB dealership should be able to order one from Germany. Part number is in the pic above.
These don't exist as an aftermarket part.
