I'm looking to buy hose 24 in the following picture.

Can somebody please help me with the correct PN?

Nothing urgent, the hose can hold a few more months.  It's for my 1979 280SE M110 K-Jet.

Two part numbers possible for the 280SE, I would need to know your engine number.


Early version - MB Part Number: A 110 997 38 82. HOSE FROM INTAKE MANIFOLD TO WARM-UP REGULATOR (FOOTNOTE 013, 070 - AS OF ENGINE)

Late version - MB Part Number: A 110 078 00 81. HOSE FROM INTAKE MANIFOLD TO WARM-UP REGULATOR (FOOTNOTE 074, 115 - AS OF ENGINE)

Sorry, I meant  the engine serial number stamped into the block (or at least the last six digits of your VIN).

It is stamped into the block close to the distributor.

Both engine 11098512067909 (from the automatic) and engine 110986100034459 (from the manual) take the early part number A 110 997 38 82.
The early part number was used up to  985 068774 (and a few other engines  in the 08XXXX range), and from 986 10/50 20/60 001600 onwards.

Note: There is a typo, as you listed an extra digit for engine 110986100034459.
