Yes.  And to amplify on the point, if there IS a vac leak then properly troubleshooting KJet is all but impossible.  Likewise for getting timing right.  And to also amplify on the timing issue, a old, sticky distributor can do weird things to idle.  To be clear, I'm not saying that fixing a vacuum leak or servicing the distributor will solve the problem.  I'm saying that if they aren't right then you can chase your tail for a long time.  Good luck!
