Help with seized / locked up engine.

The problem was revealed when the heads were removed . A couple of quite small screws from the carburettor had found their way in to a cylinder and jammed between piston and alloy block, making a bit of a mess.

No amount of WD40 was going to free that;)

Ai, that's nasty.  Applying more and more force in attempts to free the engine....

I have heard that filling it up with diesel is the cheapest and most efficient way.

For rust frozen parts maybe, but it won't help much with screws wedged between the piston and bore.
