Getting Radiator out of W116

I'm trying to get the radiator out of my M-B W116 1980 SD Turbo Diesel.

This is a barn find I'm getting back on the road after 15 years sitting. The problem I am having is that the Radiator is stuck in the car. This radiator has rubber blocks on each side of the radiator that fit into steel channels. The rubber is still fairly soft but is stuck in these steel channels.

Hi
Have you removed the 2 metal brakets on each side that clip onto the rubber pieces?
Have you removed the 2 transmission oil hoses on the lower part?
Other than the 2 water hoses, the 2 brackets, the plastic fan frame and the 2 oil hoses there's nothing else holding the radiator.
Hope that helps

LOTS of PB Blaster, and LOTS of elbow grease is generally needed.  Years of gunk makes that sucker stick in there good.  Wiggle-wiggle, spray-spray, you get the picture ;)
