Gear swap between OM 615 and OM617

I have 2 cars one has engine OM 615 with manual gear the other has engine OM617 with automatic gear.
I wish to remove the automatic gear from the OM 617 and fit it on to the OM615 Is it possible to to so? Will it fit bolt to bolt and perform fine?
