I don't know if this will be of any use, but it's a doc I downloaded some time ago, and used when working on a 928.

Good news for sure. It sounds like I need to utilize one of these instruments. 8)

6.9 WUR is 060, although there may be other variants, not sure.

I'm glad you finally looke into this.  Those symptoms are just like a 280SE I dealt with a while back - high control pressure, and no enrichment for full throttle.  Do yo have a vacuum pump (mityvac) to suck on the WUR - its possible the diaphragm is torn.  Otherwise, you need to knock the cylindrical fuel manifold about 1mm outwards (will have to disassemble to do this).

You will be impressed with the improvement once you have this sorted.

I'm sure that between you and TJ you will get this sorted, otherwise PM me for the details of a guy who supplys rebuilt and calibrated units for a reasonable price.

Great news!  Can you supply any pics of the gauge setup??  I'd be keen to test this myself...  Ken Aires can rebuild WURs in Melbourne.  They might be able to do changeovers, or even supply new ones at a reasonable price

Is it an all-alloy fuel distributor? If so, it would need to be fitted with the later WUR; they work as a pair.

The later fuel distributor (and WUR) should actually improve running, if it is installed correctly.

thou shall not touch the G! ;)
amazing, all this time and you had the wrong WUR? you could be in for a more pleasant burnout surprise on remedying this!

Swapping them out in pairs is just to get the car running... They all need to be adjusted though to the specific pressures (WUR), and you can use the proper 6.9 WUR with an alloy fuel distributor if it is set up properly. This is my understanding anyhow.

I'm running WUR 060 with a W126 380 alloy FD, but the Control Pressure and system pressure need to be checked and adjusted just like MT's.
