Front airdam for a 6.9

Hi all.
I live in Australia and I'm new to the forum and own a 1979 280SE and a 1978 450SEL 6.9.
I was wondering if the front airdam for the 6.9 is still available or is there an aftermarket one available?

I believe they are still available but if i rember correctly there are not to many left. I think Styria knows some more about them. I might be interested in one too.

Yes, I spoke to Andreas last night, (2nd April) seems a nice guy. I'm going to visit him to have a look at his 6.9 soon.
I would like to get to know the 6.9 people in Adelaide and I have found a fellow with a green one (in excellent condition) that has all the chrome blacked out, bumpers and all. Looks good. He thinks it was ordered from the factory like this, could this be right?
Lastly, yes I definitely want an AMG airdam please.

Bandolero, I'm an Adelaide boy now living in Perth and remember that green 6.9 very well indeed from the very early 1980's;  It used to blast past us up the old Mount Barker rd on occasion. Magic looking car; would love to hear more about it and if its a genuine AMG, which I suspect it is!  See if you can get the owner to come "on board" this forum with some photos!

PS Styria, if you end up making some AMG spoilers and you end up with some Adelaide buyers you can ship mine to Adelaide too;  I can store it there until Xmas when I take my 6.9 back again - then I'll have it fitted before coming home here.

Hey Styria, I still have my hand up for the AMG front air dam. Do you or anyone know if it will be a fairly simple exercise to paint the fibreglass piece with a store bought areosol paint can in a colour that will ba a close enough match? I have metallic paint which may make it tricky.

Sorry if this has been asked before but does anyone have a picture of an AMG car with the spoiler on? I would be interested to see what it looks like as mine is missing the front spoiler

WOW beautiful picture of an AMG. Love the paint work. Gloss is nice. Do you know where this photo was taken?  Are there a few more? Hope my car will look like that one day.
