Well, you seem to be heading in the right direction, so I'm sure it is just a matter of time until you pinpoint the cause. I had my WUR rebuilt in Australia for about A$140 (US$118), which is considerably cheaper than what I have seen in the US. I think most want about US$295 plus core.

Unwired Tools sells a digital WUR that looks tempting but since mine seems to work as advertised I'll probably skip it.

There is some interesting information on this on the M100 site. Pros/cons etc. In the final analysis, I guess I am yet to be convinced of the benefit - as is the guy that rebuilt mine, who has been a FI specialist for eons, but of course, his view might be biased.
