MB Kundendienst - Stationen, the booklet.
This is the very first I have found that is pre-1972 edition. For 13 euros, not expensive neither.

Caveat emptor.  Beautiful and costly as it is, I'd be skeptical of a dash that old given the well established aging behavior of the materials.  Time and oxygen are not friendly to the urethane foam under the skin.  Over time it dramatically loses pliability.  How'd you feel if it cracked or deformed during installation?  :-[  Needs an on-site inspection before buying IMO.  Unless, of course, it has been stored in nitrogen in a cryogenic chamber.

Yup even though I have not bought from these yokels, I have only heard negative feedback, and their prices are simply astounding, and not in a good way...

There was a ebay seller selo114 or something like that in Turkey I got my remanufactured dash from. I think they may have changed names. It's a very nice and fresh plastic and foam. I dont see any dash listings anymore. They had an issue of not being able to accept paypal.

I've recently bought a NOS clock for 70EUR shipped, but will be restoring the speedo (just the needle, as its faded).
Maybe I should reconsider at this price. How do I clock it forward safely though?

a NOS speedometer for MPH cars

It's a weird one - EPC/Xentry doesn't recognise that part number at all. But it's a 300SD speedo.
There's no note on replacement part numbers either.

Looking at what's listed under speedometer, there were several versions of the MPH speedo:

1) 160mph / 250kph (all cars, except 6.9 and some US versions) - A0085428406
2) 85mph / 140kph (some US versions) - A0095424506
3) 170mph / 270kph (6.9 only) - A0085427806
4) 125mph / 200kph (300SD only, but it also used #2) - A0085429106

The part number on the facia was never used in the parts catalogs or for reference in general, as it was never available separately.  The early 300SD speedometers were 125 MPH, and the last 300SD cars had 85 MPH speedometers.  This is when the U.S. department of transportation thought it was a good idea to mandate a national 55 MPH speed limit on all interstates across the nation.  It was in part due to a fuel crisis, but also because the people running the DOT at the time were ancient and couldn't grasp the concept of new cars being able to safely travel at high rates of speed.

For the 300SD speedometer, there were three part numbers for the speedometer.

125 MPH was 008-542-91-06 (up to ID number 014083)
85 MPH was   009-542-24-06 (from ID number 014084)
200 KPH (for Canada) was 008-542-92-06.

And, as Lucas stated, the 125 MPH one was used for other 6 cylinder variants, as well.

Hi,

this console is not an OEM part. If it were original, it would be more finely finished and lined with carpet
