May be so but what was the point of it. Was there never a Euro manual given that it varied so much from the USA version?

a bunch of special tools. I can't judge this very well, but you mechanics can, no doubt.

I know, I know, it's not anyone's thing but I picture a standard blue W116 interior, and this around your wrist, holding the steering wheel..

and so people do, worldwide, for years, leaving nearly none in existence. Same goes for ice-scratchers, car care products, dash-coin holders, spare bulb boxes, etc. Millions made, but just a handful of them left.

Ugh, getting 80% of search results that have nothing to do with the W116 (such as page after page of identical universal wheels, car covers, fuel pumps, etc.) along with not having money put me off of browsing eBay. Years ago I used to spend a few minutes a day browsing my W116 search parameters checking newly listed items. Then it got to the point where it would take hours and I wouldn't even get through a day's worth of listings. I'm going to have to add -wheels, -car cover, etc. to my already long search parameters so this twaddle stops showing up and clogging up my searches. I don't need to see eight pages of generic fuel pumps that don't fit my car.

Yeah I use the - sign also. You can narrow to used parts. I wish there was one for don't show me parts that are priced 10x what they are worth.  :o

indeed, or I would have bought them. Shipping is a bit  of a b#, they won't be that light. But, kind of sounds like these aren't that rare.. (nor that important), so I would rather be hoping a member here can find me a pair in decent shape, eventually.
