full assy NLA?
I am still getting OK's from MB on that assy.
What's real?

I was told they're NLA early this year.
Maybe your source has some in stock, or maybe they've re-appeared (wouldn't be a first).

What's you take on the front and rear windows? (double compound, heat absorbing, with defroster.)
NLA or not? I am still getting "available" listings.

Same as usual. You won't know for sure until your source confirms stock with Germany, or happens to have local stock.
But second hand supply is pretty steady, so no worries there. Do you really need to change the glass though?

I'd rather not, for sure, but one of the cars has had a rear shield replacement, made in Taiwan. It seems OK to the untrained eye, but to me it's shade of green is too light. Also, no defroster lines. Also, not compound glass, probably not heat absorbing.
The other worries I have are the front windows.  I need to take 3 such windows out of 3 cars. What are the chances of a break? 1 in 3?
After that I need to have the polishing-guy come in and find out if there are scratches he can't fix.
All of this will be taking place in the next few weeks. Needless to say I am worried. It's not even sure anyone in Taiwan is willing to take those windows out for me, lest at my own risk.
Now, replacing/buying windows is a matter of (a lot) of money, which is no fun, but I also worry about the chrome window trim. I told the garage that if windows are found to be scratched beyond repair, then just put a brick through them instead of prying them out, and ensure saving the trim.
Honestly, what do you think? Would a company like Car-Glass, people that come to your home and fix car windows on-site, would they have issues getting a W123/W116 window +trim out without much trouble?

I know there's cheaper aftermarkets, but this Behr is 3x cheaper than the list price from MB! (if you have a V8..)

I've taken the front and back glass out of my 350 with a helper, without any damage. Can't see why people who do this for a living would have issues.
It's dead easy once you cut away the old seals around the chrome trim. Give it a slight, but steady push, and the glass comes out nicely.

Same guy, AMG front spoiler.
Not cheap, but I guess they're rare.
Also pretty sure this guy will be accepting a way lower price. He's cleaning up the attic for a reason

and just in case you thought this was a deal.. it isn't. This guy is from Holland, and he was wise enough not to add photos from his back seat this time.

The price is a little high considering its a fake that only approximately looks like an AMG spoiler.  Real AMG front spoilers are very rare, and usually fetch 500- or more.

I know they're rare, but this type of stuff is not my thing.
Impressive you can tell they're not real!

Not an oil pump, its just a pressure damper, which one routinely rebuilds simply by fitting a new diaphragm.
