Dome Light Delay (1979 300SD)

Simple question: Did the 1979 300SD have a delay for the front dome lights? If so, where is the delay relay?

For what its worth my '79 450sel 6.9 does.  Its under the steering column/dash. Just replaced it, new from Classic center.

Hopefully, another SD owner will confirm. Not surprised the 6.9 had the "delay" as it was the "holy grail" of the W116 S-Class!

Any 1978-1980 300SD owners out there? Does your interior dome light stay on for a few seconds after closing the front doors?

The wiring diagram for om617 does not show the delay relay.

Thanks! I just got confirmation as well from the Mercedes Classic Center the 78-80 300SD did not have the dome light delay!
