Ran my W116 (D-jet converted to MS) for about 1000km, very predictable, very responsive...was a tedious job but the outcome is highly enjoyed

Hi THere, had been following this thread for quite some time now.  How much did it improve in fuel consumption?

Congrats NPK.

I haven't put my car back together yet so I'm not converted yet. I wanted to hold off on putting MS in right away until after I'm sure the car runs fine on stock equipment.

Sorry...unable to know the FC improvement cos when I got the car, the D jet was not in proper working condition..it was misfiring and running extremely rich

A ok, but now with megasquirt, how much is your fuel consumption?  eally intrested witht he conversion :)

Car is going thru some body work and paintjob now....will post the FC once I do a test run

Ok its been about 8 years.
Cars still going fine?
Fuel economy?

I have a 280SEL D-jet. Thinking of doing the same as some of the system is now hard to come by, not to mention old!
