"Classic Car LEDs" / Retrofit H4, Ba9s and Ba15s lights to 3000K LEDs

Evening,

Anybody got any experience with Classic Car LEDs in the UK?

Seems very cheap compared to alternative options, but they offer 3000K lights which other brands don't.

Seems too good to be true, might buy a whole set.

Had a brief look at the CCL in the UK and product seems comparable to whats available in Oz.
(Once you do the conversion).

Installed a complete set of led (front/rear/some interior) back in 2020, and have had no issue.

"iilumo" in melbourne is worth a look.  At the time he even helped me with the installation.

Heres the link.   https://g.co/kgs/JHfJeMY

He is in Dandenong.

Can send or upload pictures if you wish.

Alex, Ive forgotten how to upload images to this forum, can someone remind me?

In the meantime I've sent some pictures via the  link below (my Imgur free picture hosting site)

Hopefully you can see it.

Otherwise let me know & I'll email them.

cheers

BTW.   Now that I and the car have moved to Ireland, which has darker days and blacker nights, I am so so glad I have the brighter lights whilst driving.

FYI Ive noticed a huge price drop (at least 60%)  here in Ireland with "knock off" versions which have become readily available at the many "Autobarn/Repco" type outlets. I assume it would be the same in Oz.   Have no idea if they are any good. On previous, experience I've always found cheap globes only last a short time.

I can never seem to upload images on this site well. Hmmm

The images on imgur are fantastic, they do look substantially better- but i'm not really a fan of white LEDs.
And they don't seem to offer "homage" or 3000-4000K options. Also a bit expensive..

I'll have to consider my options on shipping a set of LEDs from the UK down under.

Yes. They were not cheap at the time.

I converted the whole car over a period of 6-8 months, buying what I could afford, as spare cash became available.

Bank manager (wife!) was kept in the dark naturally!!!   ;)  :-X

Like you, I prefer the original "Non white" globes however there is no comparing the "sharpness" of a whiter light on the road at night.
