Title: Brake steel lines.
Post by: ADV_rider on 17 March 2021, 11:04 PM
Hi. Today I replaced the brake hoses from the rear brakes, since they where both leaking.

The problem is that the connection was stuck and I damaged the nuts on the hard brake lines.

Does anybody has the specs of the tube (diameter) and the nuts? I assume it's all metric.

Fitting: M10x1.0
Line: 4.75mm, with "metric bubble" flare (DIN convex)

I think it's p/n 1234206628.
The one that connects to the rubber hose that goes to the caliper just after.
But double check as I'm not 100%.
Good luck

I just found some VW bettle (old version) that are same specs.
I guess I'm lucky to live where they sold 21.5 million nettles.  And if those withstand the bettle then they must work ok and last long.

US$ 2.00 each.
