Attacking vacuum leak

After enjoying 30+ years of central locking with the exception of replacing one door actuator, my unlock "circuit" is so leaky that I can't unlock after an hour.  Used to be good for a day.  Lock circuit is tight for a day.

Started diagnosing the components.  So far, driver's door switch is leaking a little, trunk actuator a little, and fuel door a little.  What the heck.  I'm going to install new diaphragms in everything.  I can get to everything, no problem except the trunk.

How do you remove the plastic trim at the threshold of the trunk to get to the trunk actuator?  Shop manual says remove oval screws.  It doesn't have any screws.  Feels like it snaps off.

But, I'm not into experiments on parts that are NLA.  Thanks a ton.

The screws are at the far ends facing into the trunk. Make sure you remove them and then you can gently remove the entire part.

Yes there are!  But I wouldn't be able to find without your help.  They are tiny and black.
