« on: 20 October 2017, 11:28 AM »
All the individual components of my WP1021 work, but I cant get the system to fire up.

anyone with even a little experience?  are there any hidden fuses?

looking for the black box controller module if anyone has any leads.

I just acquired the installation manual - in German that I am translating, as well as have a copy of the operating instructions, and an original MB supplemental heater booklet (in 8 languages)

yes I have that, it is the later operating manual, not the installation manual, which has much more technical specs and operating parameters that will be useful for troubleshooting and installing.

Sorry I can't help.  I've only once seen a webasto installation, was on a 6.9 that I worked on.

I spent the last couple of days translating the entire manual. the web technology is amazingly helpful

1. OCR scan original and save as .txt
2. upload to website to translate german to english
3. save a .doc
4. go thru and correct all the words that OCR messed up using goggle translate.
6. read manual to learn how it actually works.
5. 4x enlarge wiring diagram and study

BTW this morning I found that there is a 2 wire connector that I have not plugged in,  now need to find where in car it disappeared to...

english translation attached hopefully

Nice work Robert! Maybe mods can add this to the library?

I also sent him a pdf of the original manual.  it was too big to post here.

Let me know if you need help with any of the translations, especially with some technical things the web services sometimes reach their wits end.
