I actually have a pair of medical scissors that crank up at a 45 degree angle for this job, I use hose cutters to cut away the old hose and then cut through the hose left lengthways as I find more and more hoses crusted onto alloy housings.

I went down this track after buggering a heater core trying to remove an old hose.

Any pics Tony?

I love Kent's "whiny customer" voice! "Ahh, my heat won't work... my heat won't shut off, etc"

Kent's The Man.

I only have Defrost. My servo is sitting in a box on my bed (I sleep on the floor) waiting to be disassembled and restored. I don't even know if that is possible.

One day,... One day,....

Of what Mark?

The scissors?

Google "plaster cast scissors" mate, Hemostats also come in handy for fiddly work.

They come in a few sizes and weights, the crank should be 45 degree's give or take a bit and mine are quite solid and have done quite a few years work.

Of course you know what hose cutters look like so im not chucking a picture up lol
