Pat, it looks huge!  But looks fantastic too.

Any chance of closing the gap between rad and condenser by moving the radiator forward ie, a quick trip back to the rad shop and modify the mounts backwards?

The shop is also in QLD, and im in Perth, so its not just a casual drive around the corner :P

Its PWR, the guys that make the radiators for the v8 super cars.

Damn, I had no idea, I thought the place was in Perth.

The 2 fan idea - Today I got that one I posted about and it's a beauty.  All metal frame, considerable weight, fins are like a very hard plastic I thought they were metal and the whole thing is low profile (except the motor on one of the fans. Second fan is belt driven by the first, I'll get better pics late tonight).  I would imagine that it would suit your shroud (if it was modified futher for two holes).   Not that I'm selling this one plus there's heaps of dual fan units you could buy, but looking at your pics I can imagine this unit would go well.  Plus it's a Benz fan, not Aussie.

you can get ultra-low profile high volume pushers and pullers.

Or a cheap way is to get two low-profile pushers from an english ford - we called them "Scorpio" by Merkur (a Ford Division)

They last forever and only take up about 1.5" - the guts are in the fan hub itself

I like aftermarket slimlines - you can get these up to 14" - local styles are about $60 each

Time for a week off and go back refreshed.

You are trying to do a lot in a short space of time and you need some headroom to get the creativity going forwards again.

You can drive my 6.9 if you need a fix but I'm going on a 4 day family holiday to Busselton next weekend to see what the fuel economy of the 320 Diesel is like.

nah, my car is a current mercedes branded silver.

The red valve covers were fun for a while, but now i think Tj's stock colour ones look hell better ;)

Well good to see you didn't have them chrome plated, a lot of people think these are cool, but all they achive is keeping all the heat inside the engine, as you know not good,

the custom radiator looks great
