1975 450SE Fuel Pumps

Hello,

I am still having the warm start stall problem with my 75 450SE. I've come to the conclusion that it must be my fuel pump. Everything else in the fuel injection system has been replaced except the injectors themselves. I contacted MB to purchase a new fuel pump and was told they do not stock the pump I need.

Has anyone ever purchased a fuel pump or other rebuilt part from GermanStar? That company has been the only one other than ADSIT, which by the way wanted over $600 US for a new fuel pump, to carry the early model M117 pump.

Any other ideas where I can purchase this fuel pump, MB part number 001-091-71-01.

Also, what is the proper name of the banjo like part that is attached to the fuel pump. I believe it is called a fuel damper but I'm not sure. What is the purpose of this part?
