Question:

Can I use the MPS from a 450 (PN 0280100100) on my 350SE (PN 0280100012)?

As the D jet 350 and 450 share common components I cant see why not.

BTW you have quoted Bosch part numbers and a quick check reveals that the 350 part is near double the price.

If you are in a position to give it a try I cant see an issue.

BTW has your original unit been tested? and what failed?

Sometimes they fail to hold vacuum etc but this section of the manual here shows you how to check.

http://handbook.w116.org/engine_75_l.htm and then section 07.4  gives an excellent lot of info for test and tune.

Initially it can be a bit hard to digest but keep reading and it all comes together nicely.

it pays to be informed because sometimes, just sometimes mechanics play swap the part to see if this fixes the issue.........

And this can be expensive trial and error for the client.
