Title: 15" Fuchs wheels in 2020
Post by: floyd111 on 27 June 2020, 03:04 PM
Are these still for sale from MB USA, Europe, or the classic center(s)?
Would love to hear what prices are these days, if any. especially the 15" ET25 7j, 1264002202
Please correct me if I am mistaken, but that is the part number for W116 280, isn't it?

Thanks guys.. :)

Best to drop the Classic Centre an email.  Last I checked with Tom Hanson they were still available but that was a while ago, if I recall they were 500 bucks a pop net or thereabouts, then of course to ship them is a ton of money on top.

Currently, the 15" wheels are still available; wholesale is $398 and retail is $560 each.

For the 14" wheels, they, too, are still available for $448 wholesale, and they retail for $630 each.

Don't forget to buy the center caps, as they do not come with the new wheels.  107-400-00-25.

MB produced a new batch in early 2013.  At the time I purchased 5 from the Classic Center in California.  Price was about US$500 a wheel and shipping was very reasonable.  Give Tom Hanson a call to see if they are still available.

Stan, Luke, I got my prices from my dealership that I always buy from.  And yes, parts are often much more expensive in Europe.  Why?  I have no idea.  Mercedes has new batches made every year or two lately, but given their trying to end parts for the classics I don't know how much longer that'll last.  Though, I imagine if you bought from the U.S. and had them shipped it would end up being costly when we add in shipping to Taiwan or Ireland.  Even so, you'd still get them for much less than one could in Europe.

So, yours is fresh data? Pff..What a diff.  I just saw 4 go on ebay for a bucket more yesterday. Guess that s the world's best kept secret then!
I wrote to the classic center in cali, let's see what shipping costs..

agree with PT, as I bought my last set about 500US ea and postage wasn't actually bad at all to Australia.  I emailed Tom a few weeks back as I want another set, his reply was dont bother, prices have gone ballistic he said. he didnt actually tell me the price and im one of the wallies who usually doesnt get too upset if things go up a bit - so must be bad!!

In Europe, yes.
Maybe MB US is sitting on some older stock still.

Do not forget to buy new Center Caps.  Also as a suggestion buy 5 wheels (instead of 4) so that you have a matching spare. I did this. Regards

sigh, 550USD...each...
postage to our colony was much worse than my last set 10 years ago.
125 ea or something like that
ultimately though, we would never find a used set in australia like if were on continental Europe sadly PT

Nathan,

Great purchase.  Try to also get new factory tire valve stems. They look great on the wheels. MB part number is 107 400 0013.  I got these also at the Classic Center with Tom a few years ago.

Regards,

Just checked with my trusted German dealer... 1102EUR/each as of  today.
Looks like stock is running low again.
