I have recently purchased a 77 6.9 with bundts and am wanting to put steelies with silver hubcaps.  I found a nice set of 14" hubcaps on ebay, but need to know if  there any problems or caveats with hubcaps or does a 14" hubcaps fit all models.

I can't see your picture, but the hubcaps should be fine so long as you are using the correct rims.  You need the 6,5Jx14 ones with a 108.... part number.

They look like the correct hubcaps but make sure you get the correct V8 sized wheels with teh extra 1/2 inch as Sclass has stated and get the correct wheel bolts.

Thanks for the replies.  Went ahead and purchased these, but will make sure to get the right sized steelies.

Any ideal tires?  I live in the US.

For a 6.9, the correct tyre size is 215/70VR14.  This size is fairly available in the US, but not elswhere in the world.  If you can't get that size, then 205/75R14 will be an acceptable alternative.

I suspect you will not be able to get the correct VR rating, but will need to settle for a lesser speed rating.  Check what your local laws and insurance cover clauses say about this.  In some countries its an issue, in others it is not.
