Title: will a rhd seats fit a lhd car
Post by: w116john on 28 May 2019, 10:49 AM
hi all

there is a good looking set of mbtex bamboo seats for near me and they look pretty good, not committed to them yet but

my question are rhd and lhd seats the same? anyone done this?

new leather can look too new and is shocking price wise, for me i would prefer to find an old leather bamboo seat but i haven't seen one
so mbtex might be an option if they fit.

all the best

You would think so but the driver's seat is the only adjustable one with the handle on the wrong side. At least seems that way with mine.

I think you can swap the slabs and use your tracks.

Could you not take them for the mbtex skins alone?
I mixed and matched some identical skins from a donor car some years back. My seats look magic.
I kept my original frames. (I'd had them resprung).
