Title: White wall tyres???
Post by: irvine on 11 July 2018, 03:50 AM
Hey everyone, it's new tyres time and I wanna fit white walled tyres. I'm wondering what brand other people have been using??

I don't want the silly stuck on flaps or mess around with paint.

Thanks,
Neil.

Maxxis MA-1 is a good one. Zero complaints from me and I'm running them on my blue 6.9.

I know they aren't high performance but I have to agree with Tim,
I have had no complaints with the Maxxis fitted to my 6.9
They are quiet and comfortable and look good on the car.

What money we talking about for the maxxis?
I'm not too fussed about performance tyres anymore been there done that with m3's etc and a 280se is farrr from performance.

Not big bucks, I got mine from Tyrepower. I'd be enquiring at your local tyre shop as I bought mine a few years back, they were over $100 for the 215s.

These are 215/70 X 14 they are the correct size for the 6.9 although the load rating of 96 is a smidge under the factory recommendation.

The 280 would have left the factory with 195/70's and the 450se's were shod with 205/70's

they aren't expensive, think I paid @ $160 each
