Here's yet another incarnation of the ATE brake booster sticker, this one's from my 450 prior to restoration. There was no way to rescue it :(

It would sure be great to receive an update on this matter.. What stickers have been reproduced by now?
Could we have a list and prices?
Is this still ongoing, or should I proceed and have all 50 of them done myself?

yes - its still ongoing. Will show an update when I am satisfied with all new stickers.
The tempomat-sticker is taking time at the moment->its a difficult one because of the neon colors.
It looks perfect - but sticks poorly to the tempomat unit. So another approach is needed.
HPF-Sticker on the HPF-Tank has to be tested when being covered by hydraulik oil...
That all takes time. Just be patient.

I had sent some 35 different ones to the sticker factory 6 months ago. Aluminum, plastic, all sorts of them.
They were quite able to do them all-at-once.
How come your people have problems producing some of them?
Maybe give the tough cases to me?

Hi Stan,

do as you like. I am primarily doing these stickers for my cars, and my cars are able to drive without stickers  ;) so I don't want to
put pressure on me or the other persons that are involved.

Stan - the demand for stickers is rather low, don't expect much.
- I offered the two red AC-Stickers years ago (also on this website) after I made them for my W116
and I sold this number of stickers: "0"
- Through this thread I sold this number of stickers upto now: "5". Thanks to Peter and you.
- If I counted right there is further interest in approx. 20 Stickers.
That for 16 different stickers I intend to make.

So you may understand now that I dont want to hurry, I am just making stickers for my cars. And when
they are ready I am glad to offer them in this forum.
Are your cars ready so you are in urgend need for stickers?

Stan: make every sticker you want. Just coordinate this with me so we don't work on the same stickers.

I'm patiently waiting for the entire set, except AC stickers, to be ready, and don't mind the wait :)
So, no pressure from my side! Thanks for doing this.

Like the others, I am not in a hurry, and personally, I have no interest in selling any for profits.
I just want 2 or 3 sets for my 280"s, somewhere in 2017.
So, Thomas, what you feel from my side is not pressure, but an offer to relieve pressure, in case you don't have the time, lost interest, or are faced with complications.
We're talking 50 to 75 different stickers here that need exact reproduction. Not a small task if you have a life.
The cost is another factor. Even though each sticker will cost only 30-50 euros to reproduce (in 500pcs min.) The fact that we have 75 pcs to do really hurts the wallet.
So, again, can I help? And if so, which stickers do you want me to do? Or leave it with you? Also good.

I found a few labels on this site,

particularily #9 and #10 radiator labels.

http://www.mbzponton.org/valueadded/other/decals.htm

I'm pretty sure these are used on W108, can someone confirm their use on W116, I think they were also used there.

answering my own question.  here is a picture of the labels on a 6.9

Robert is there not also supposed to be a black sticker to the right of the "data card" plaque, denoting the rpm settings and mixture and such for the pollution control crap?  Or maybe that is US only ???  Also the plaque to the left of the hood catch normally is on the driver B Pillar, no?

Oops sorry I guess you were only referring to the labels on the fan shroud?

This thread sure could do with a revival, a re-cap and a reality check, to find out what work has been done, and what is to follow still, in order to get this W116 sticker collection complete and available to the public..

I'm interested in who ever has what available.   If one has to buy from 2 or 3 enthusiasts to make up a fairly complete set, that's fine too.
