W116 rubber part numbers

Hi guys,

I know there have been posts of this sort in the past, but I could not find a comprehensive list of part numbers covering all main rubbers of the regular W116.
rear light rubbers
trunk rubber
sub frame rubber
all door rubbers
window rubbers and scrapers, front, rear, (inside/outside) side windows, sliders, etc.

I already bought much of it for the first W116, but I found I missed a few, and now there's a second car that needs to be equipped
Prices are through the roof at times, and aftermarket replacements most often suck, so I need Genuine MB sets, and prices are really essential here.

A part number list would be much appreciated, if available. (and/or a competitive seller?)

Best wishes,

Stan

If you're buying a lot of parts, I'd say you would be much better of with getting access to the online version of EPC. It's relatively inexpensive (20EUR/year), and covers the entire parts catalogue for all MB models from the 70s onwards (maybe even earlier models), including replacement part numbers and availability details. Totally worth it.

I'd agree, well worth the money. Works for 60's cars too. BTW, it only runs on Windows, so Mac/Unix users will need to make other arrangements.

If this list doesn't cover everything, then ask what you are looking for and we can find it.

Do heed the others advice about subscribing to EPC.net.  Type in "EPC.Startekinfo.net" and subscribe.  Most of us don't have the time to sit down and make this comprehensive of a list for others all of the time.  EPC will be your best friend.  It's where I got all of these part numbers. :)     AARON

Thanks, but I think you'll really be speechless when you see what all of this will cost you.  IF you use aftermarket, plan on buying that part twice.  Once from the aftermarket source, and then a second time from Mercedes.  ;)  AARON

Ha,

I just bought all rubbers on your list, everything times twice, for both my cars.
Thanks again for this list. Really excellent work.

Costs are not too bad, but I do have a great source for original MB parts in Germany. All in OEM packing, BTW.
If you want to, I can see if I can hook you up, be it that it won't be worth it on small shipments.
But, a larger shipment of parts, let's say for a full restore like mine, I am looking at 35-50% off most USA discount prices.

After this post, I decided to get EPC against all odds.
Now I finally do, and would love to pull lists like those rubber parts lists.
Can anyone tell me what buttons to set/push for this rubber parts list to show up with a few clicks? Or a "hose" list, or such..
I take it it need not be a one-by-one search action?

There are parts groups you can select, but that's as close as you will get. The rest is one-by-one.

Would you guys recommend EPC to European based folks with European editions as well? (Given that certain features vary from US to European models)

Need to find the rubber seal around the instrument cluster.

Type17

Yes, when you enter the VIN, you get to choose USA or Europe (which is the Rest of the World as well).

Okay, just started to wonder when the only country I could choose in the "billing information" section whilst subscribing was the US. How do I sort that out?

floyd111

you need someone with a USA address to get you the subscription, then let him pass the login and password to you. No other way.
The EPC doesn't keep your actual IP in check, so no worries there.

Zrzoun93

Alright, then I know what to do, thanks!
