Underbonnet Stickers.

My 1979 euro 450SEL has no underbonnet warning stickers left eg "Beware of Fan", ignition timing data etc.

Does any knowledgeable person know if they are still available and how many there are supposed to be.

I will probably work my way through the parts catalogue Patrick sent me but I really am not good at driving it yet.

Nathan - that pic shows a bay like it just came off the assembly line.

thanks BC,
as many people often notice on others selling cars - the engine bay is often neglected...and it doesnt cost much to tidy up the engine bay! degrease it, a few stickers, powder coat the air intake thingy, spray paint the rocker covers and radiator top and it looks pretty swish...i also had the front body coloured bit repainted when i had some rust taken out of the rear window/sail area...
one thing for us 69ers (ill leave that alone), you can no longer get the hydraulic oil only sticker (not available) nor the emissions control sticker (luckily i must have got one of the last one for aus)...

yes, i have been told off on this by a certain PB....but it's the encouragement I need to start and get to it. My bay is not attractive at all.

cut the mohican some slack...when AMG reachs 300,000+ km's (in around 2060), youll be smoking it up too!
another unavailable sticker is the tyre one on the B pillar for th 6.9 and it VR215 tyres...

to make sure the slack bastard painters painted under it, i loosened it up and reminded the guy to paint under it...
he did so but then forgot to put it back on and paint it...never fear, i got it back and made him repaint it too!
