SEL replacement sills / rocker panels

Hi, I know this has been covered in the past, but I wondered if anyone has recently bought any replacement sills/rocker panels specifically for the SEL.  I know that Van Wezel and others do the SE version and many places have those parts for very little.  However, the only place I have found with the SEL version is MB UK, and it was going to be well over £1200 for inner and outer sills for both sides.  That's too much for me right now.  Any ideas would be much appreciated!

What we did for our 6.9 is buy 3 sills. 2 left and 1 right. we used the 2nd left one to fill up the 10 cm gap left and right.

Outer sills aren't. Inner sills are.

I have a new genuine Mercedes SEL inner sill   for sale if you're interested. I think it's for the drivers side. I would say that outer sills are indeed structural but if the section is welded in correctly with a quality continuous weld then it should be as good as an SEL sill.
