RHD dashes

after TJs discovery, there is now only 1blue RHD dash left worldwide!
mine turned up today well packed. i second other sentiments, it really is like the GAHH/new leather in lighter colour. its very soft though and has some elasticity compared to our old shiny hard dashes!
now to find somewhere to store it for 10 years til i can be arsed putting it in!

My 6.9 has a blue (cracked) dash. Unfortunately I can't afford it either

I wish they sold new brown dashboards (and without the climate control sensor). But then I couldn't afford it, anyway.

If i hadnt had mechanical issues last month id be on the phone to mercedes pronto for that last one! may i ask what the cost of the second last part world wide was? does it feel spongy just like a new cars? when you get the old dash out can you photo us  the old vs new?  its so exciting getting a NEW part for a car from overseas isnt it?

Howdy GF, its definitely softer than the new ones. i was talking to TJ about this. im not sure when ill fit it. my current dash has one 2 inch crack near the instrument cluster. to be honest, im not sure dashes ever fit as good after the original comes out, so im a little reluctant at this time to arrange to fit it! it was about 1000US and 250 postage (evidently postage relates to size and not weight as 4 alloys only cost me 200! ??)

mine was under a grand with discount, i just cant remember the exact amount and 1k is easier to type than 923! now i lost my lazy benefit with this long reply!

I certainly wouldn't mind a new LHD black one at some point!  But then I've also thought about taking an old cracked dash, filling it in and smoothing it out, then gluing on a custom-fit leather cover.  I believe Charlie did that to his 450SEL...
