WOW!  Thanks for the link!  :D 8)  So a few questions  ??? :o:

1.  Where can you get the timber veneers?
2.  What grains are available?
3.  Do you stick it down with PVA?
4.  How do you get it to follow the contours of the pieces?
5.  It looks like you've used more than one piece of veneer on the same base material, so why are no joins visible?
6.  How do you hold the veneer while it dries?
7.  Do you use a steam iron?
8.  What lacquer do you use?

1.In the specialized stores selling lumber and veneer, I took here http://belyieben.ru/korni
2.  What grains are available?-not understand the question, please explain
3.If the item is straightforward, can be spread both plastic glue and squeeze until dry
4.[/li cut out some veneer (with a margin of 2-3mm) size details.
Apply glue. The easiest option PVA better D3. On the item and veneer. Sushish to almost completely dry. Glue becomes almost transparent.
You turn the iron on ... A little less. Beres piece of foam and wash with water.
Now applying veneer to the detail on the top of the convex part and smooth iron, exactly in the center. veneer is glued on top and takes the form of an arc. Around the edges but still hangs.
Now abundantly wetting veneer using water and foam begins to slowly prikatyvat iron from the center to the edges. And so it is bent in a second plane. Veneer while almost completely dry....

5.  It looks like you've used more than one piece of veneer on the same base material, so why are no joins visible?-not understand the question, please explain
6.Just put on a dry surface, and wait until dry (after drying curls into a tube)
8.First applied stain then polyurethane barrier primer, then used polyester lacquer LRA870 Materials here this manufacturer http://t-color.ru/catalog/milesi/polyester/
