Removal of driver's armrest (mounted on LH front seat)

Hi all -

I consulted the factory manual at page 91-160 in order to understand the removal procedure for the front armrest.

My 6.9 (#4811) appears not to have the type of pin described.

Mine has a smooth head and no obvious locking screw or screw nut as described in 91-160.

Please see attached, including photos of the pin I can't see how to get a hold of with a tool.

Any ideas?

Looks like the wrong photo was used in the FSM.
You need to work on the opposite side of the armrest.

The seatback panel (with the netting) needs to be removed.
Then you can access the  locking screw and the large nut that secure the armrest to the right side of the seatback.
