hey everyone, had a little side project the last few days while I got "rained off" at work. I was proper inspired by a w114 coupe I follow on Instagram where he polished the standard hubcaps and it looked amazing so I thought "what the hell, ive got nothing to lose" and had a go myself.

I used some basic paint stripper from the auto shop which worked great apart from one hubcap which ended up taking several stripping sessions.

for the polishing i used autosol polishing paste with cotton polishing drill attachement, total of 3 polishing sessions and a final coat of meguiars carnuba wax to protect the final piece.

i know there is a little bit of gutter rash on some edges but ill leave the sanding to another rainy project as each hubcap took 1.5 hours from start to finish.

thanks for looking,
neil.
