Nice indeed, it's not something you find everyday. 8)

Oh man, those'll look really mean. :D Actually, they already look mean; Dark, and kinda dirty and a little scuffed. Like Mad Max or some shit. 8) I guess you're probably going to clean them up and paint them though?

Those wide ones will look really good from the back, too. Wide rear tires look menacing in an understated kind of way. 8)

You'll have to post some pics of them once they've been fitted. :D

Yeah, I'm not sure about colour yet.  It will probably be completely silver, or silver centres with diamond cut lips.

That's the same size as my new wheels. They make a massive difference to the handling. They should look good in silver.

What size tyres did you use, Adam?

I'd like to have wider rears, but availability of 245/45R16 or similar is pretty limited.

Rear wears 245/50/16 but bear in mind that I'm coming from the 6.9 which would have 215/70/14 by default.

The black car looks great on those rims :)

Where did you get those centres??  I need a set...  I have a set of Pentas, but they're not as wide as yours....  I think mine are 8" front and rear.  9" wide would be nice!!!  I'm aiming for 255mm rear tyres, but they're very hard to find.  I might have to use 245s which are fairly common here, or 265 if they'll fit!

I would do body paint-matched centers, and chromed lips.

But then, I'm biased:

I like BBS's and Pentas and chromed bundts and Mercedes hubcaps (preferably on aluminum rims).  That's about it.  I'm really not much of a fan of regular Bundts and everything else aftermarket looks like complete rubbish to me.  I don't even like centras.

9" is awesome...my BBS's are 7" and 8".  Look forward to seeing yours refinished and installed!

When my our container finally lands here, I will have 4 15x7 Pentas to fit to something. Not quite the same presence as 16" rims, but they were refurbed in silver readiness for our move, and should look nice on a car.

oversize, I bought those centre caps from a friend in Germany.  I believe they are still available new at the dealer, but are expensive - something like $75 a piece?

Rears are Maxxis Nexus I think. Front ones are something Chinese.
