Parts number for A Pillar seals
« on: 30 June 2020, 06:55 AM »
Hello all I seen there is a rather extensive list of W116 rubber parts listed but I’m a little confused about the part numbers for what I need. I am looking for part numberA for the long flat gasket that runs basically the length of the pieces of trim. I also looking for part number for the rubber pieces that the front fillers on either side pop into on the inner side where it meets fender. These fillers I’m talking about are right under headlights

You're going to have to be more detailed in your description, as any of the "A" pillar seals aren't anywhere close the the headlights.  What exactly are you talking about?  I think you may be referring to the plastic bushings that hold the metal panel in to the fender.....the metal panel being under the headlights.  These plastic (not rubber) bushings are part number 116-988-03-78.

The rubber seals that run the length of the "A" pillar trim are part numbers 116-698-13-97 (L) and 116-698-14-97 (R).  Only the left side is available.  The right side is not.

The rubber seals that go on the bottoms of the "A" pillar trim are part numbers 116-698-01-98 (L) and 116-698-02-98 (R).

You'll also need new foam padding that goes between the "A" pillar and the trim itself.  Part number 116-698-07-98.  Unfortunately, it's no longer available. So try to reuse it.

Thank you, you were able to tell what I needed even with my little information. Thank you very much for your help. The numbers you gave were just what I was looking for
