I have a confession to make. I've been hiding something from you all for several years now and have to come clean. I know I've said in the past that I love my USA version bumpers and have defended them against people saying horrible things about them. So, I decided to modify my bumpers so they are closer to the way Mercedes intended for them to look.

Thats the spare parts tray. It came optional on that model I believe? ::) It doubled up as a drip tray, so as to keep your driveway clean.
In later models they decided to take it "inside the cabin" and put one under each front seat. As slide out trays they were so handy.

Oh, those are the South American bumpers. They start off as North American, but they extend much further.
