Hey guys

Just curious what you all think of these after market rims that are on an old parts car I have.

They are not in good shape and I am wondering if they are worth keeping and restoring??

Any thoughts?

Frankly, to me they look odd on these cars.  Actually, to me anything except for the bundt wheels (or good copies) looks odd to me on these cars.  But admittedly, I'm kind of an originalist.  ::)  Cheers,

Maybe a lowrider would like them.

Sorry but I hate those wheels with a passion!!!! The only car they sort of look good on are the old MG convertibles. To me they just look messy, tacky and an absolute nightmare to keep clean...

The Stud pattern and bore size will limit the kind of car they fit.

W116 is an elegant old saloon with only one model in the range that could be considered high performance but still not sporty. Wheels with central spinners come from a generation of racing cars that have no lineage with the W116.

Ok, thats kinda what I was thinking.  Dave I agree, I am also an originalist however I recently had someone approach me that wanted to buy them and I started thinking maybe they are worth something, but hearing the group opinion I will be letting them go.
thanks guys
