Need photo of lower grill

The center mount of the lower plastic grill is missing on my car and flapping around.  It's the point where the two halves meet in the center.  I can see the mounting hole in the lower valence, but can't figure out what parts to order or fabricate.  Thanks a ton.

These pics help at all?

Yes indeed!  Thanks a ton.

Looks like I need to do a little plastic repair in addition to hardware replacement.

A random note, the North American lower Grills are Different from European lower Grills. They are not interchangeable.

That's good to know.  You just saved me some grief, thanks!

And on the subject of these grills, anybody know how successfully they can be painted?  I'd prefer a proper black, not the weathered, faded grey.  I think they're glass-filled polypropylene which usually doesn't hold paint very well, but I'm not sure.  I'd probably use a prep coat of 2k urethane body primer first unless there's something better.  FWIW, I haven't had good results on PP with the so-called plastic spray paint.  It's only slightly better than regular spray paint, which peels off almost immediately.  Hope this isn't too much of a hijack.  Cheers,

If you can match the color they could easily be repainted.  When new they are a greyish black and not glass filled.

BTW you can buy them new for a reasonable $ from MB.

Interesting. If they aren't glass filled PP I wonder what they are?  They seem to hard to be unfilled PP. I guess I'll just go ahead and paint 'em black, along with the air dam.  I like black better than the dark grey anyway. A little paint is a lot cheaper than MB, even if they are reasonable.  If they peel then so be it.
