Bought my 280se about a year ago for 1000. Was planning on fixing it up.and making some money. Just figured it was an older car could and could make some money on it. I did this before with a 1971 Plymouth.  If i never would have driven the car that would still be the case. After about 30 minutes on the freeway.i fell in love with it. By far one of the smoothest cars iv stepped into. So now im fixing it up and ganna keep it.

Parts seem pretty easy to come by. It needs new carpet, a hole in drivers seat, some exterior trim, wheel covers. Im just having trouble finding a good place to get the wheel covers. Anyone have any ideas? Im in San Diego, CA

Hi,

The Mercedes Classics Center in Irvine, CA sells brand new wheel covers for your 280. The are not cheap but they are really well done.
