Hello again,

I guess I could dig into the wiring schematic and see if I could figure this out, but maybe someone knows from experience?

The previous owner had used this as a power source for an aftermarket stereo.  I got a voltage between maybe 5-9volts, power was not related to dash lights from what I could determine.   Anyone?   Also there is some very small markings on this wire, should I be getting a magnifying glass to read them?

I am using the car without it, so far only things that don't work are climate control, cruise control, low power and blue smoke.  It should would be great if restoring this wire fixed all these issues for me.  :)

If you had asked this question a couple years ago, I would have been able to tell you as I knew the wire harness inside and out as I converted my automatic climate control to manual. But, from memory, I think there are two wires that look like that--one that is a radio power wire, and one that is a climate control power wire.

Thanks for the info.  The lower voltage makes me wonder exactly what is going on.

That green/red wire does look like the radio fuse wire from memory.
