Leather restoration
« on: 24 October 2006, 12:02 AM »
...and oldie (topic) but a goodie!  I've been advised that my black leather might benefit from the application of something like Kiwi Scuff Stuff liquid shoe polish (the type you apply with the built in applicator sponge) where the black leather is more brown now than black (eg see below on passenger seat side bolsters)   Anyone tried it?  I have previously used Leatherique to clean, soften etc the leather and it was "ok" (I have not used their dye); I did find with Leatherique you needed to have the car in the sun to dry the product - otherwise it stayed damp / sticky afterwards.

sigh....sitting back contemplating the next purchase..!
