Well first thing to consider is how much $ do you want to invest. This stuff is not cheap especially if you want quality work. If you are handy with tools and such just do it yourself. If not then you don't have many options. Good luck  :)

Marhaba! I lived in Saudi Arabia for the first 12 years of my life. I quite enjoyed it. I wish that I had learned to speak Arabic well. Unfortunately, I do not know much about getting Mercedes parts in your area, but https://mercedessource.com/ ships internationally, as will http://www.autohausaz.com/ and http://www.pelicanparts.com/Mercedes-Benz/index-SC.htm. This eBay seller is located in Turkey: http://www.ebay.com/sch/w114selo/m.html.

I know that many middle eastern countries such as Jordan and Syria have many vintage Mercedes still being used. It would be interesting to know where they get their parts. Good luck with your 350SEL.

You must be made aware that in most countries, "used auto parts" are both frequently sent in from out of country and carry no import duty or tax.

If you need assistance here in the USA, it would be a privilege to rebox parts you need, properly label them as 'used' and send them on to you by whatever method you choose.  I live quite near the fedex, UPS and DHL terminals here in NE Indiana, USA and thus it would not be a major trouble to help you in this way.

This forum is full of great people who will help as much as possible.

It's not a problem how much it cost !!

but if you have something new cost 5000 $ and you can get some help from some people to get it by less price =))

That's my point =))

hahaha i'm not handy with stuff like that =)) ,, but don't worry about that i can handle it

the big problem is PARTS !! =(

Thanks

Hi John ,, actually i tried to understand your first sentence " You must be made aware that in most countries, "used auto parts" are both frequently sent in from out of country and carry no import duty or tax. "

But me englsih is very bad and the translater is give me meaning of the words  :-\

shipping outside USA not a problem ( i think ! )

I think the " the shipping by sea " is cheap

but my question is do you have most of the parts of the car ?

i'll be in touch with you ;)

I lived in Riyadh most of the time, but also lived in Jeddah for a short time. Sometimes my family would visit friends in Dhahran. I will be turning 30 next month.

I often buy parts from the websites listed. Most of the time they are made by the same companies that make parts for Mercedes-Benz, but are not genuine Mercedes parts.

This is the website for the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center website in the USA with genuine Mercedes parts: http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/enthusiast/classic_center. They don't have an online catalog, though, and I do not know if they will ship internationally.

Jbrasile is a member here on W116.org. He may be able to get you new genuine Mercedes-Benz parts and ship them overseas. For rubber parts like windshield and door seals, genuine Mercedes parts fit much better than aftermarket brands.
